IIMT Engineering College Board of Governors Sets Strategic Roadmap for 2025-26

The Board of Governors (BOG) of IIMT Engineering College, Meerut, convened on August 2, 2025, to finalize the strategic direction and academic roadmap for the 2025-26 session. The meeting was held under the leadership of Shri Yogesh Mohanji Gupta, Chairman of the IIMT Group of Institutions, and Dr. Mayank Agarwal, Managing Director of the IIMT Group of Institutions.

The Board reviewed and approved several critical agenda items:

Strategic Initiatives Approved for Immediate Implementation

  • Student-Faculty Research Collaboration: CSE/AI faculty will formally mentor final and pre-final year students to publish research papers and develop advanced projects.
  • Peer-to-Peer Knowledge Sharing: Structured Faculty Development Programs (FDPs) will be organized for faculty to share domain expertise internally.
  • Intensified NAAC Accreditation Drive: A targeted campaign will be initiated to enhance quality parameters across all criteria under the direct guidance of the Chairman.
  • Formation of Student Clubs: A robust network of clubs (Technical, Cultural, Sports, Social) will be established under the Dean of Student Welfare, with a goal for every student to participate in at least three activities annually.

Campus Review and Future Outlook

Following the deliberations, the Board members toured the campus to inspect recent developments. They commended the progress and provided valuable recommendations to elevate the institution's academic standards. It was resolved that all approved measures would be implemented before the new academic session commences on August 18, 2025.
