Engineers’ Day 2025
IIMT Engineering College, Meerut, celebrated Engineers’ Day 2025 on Tuesday, September 16 with great enthusiasm, paying tribute to the invaluable contribution of engineers in nation-building.
The event was inaugurated by Chairman Shri Yogesh Mohanji Gupta, Managing Director Dr. Mayank Agrawal, and Director Prof. Dr. Dhirendra Kumar, who lit the ceremonial lamp.
Highlights of the Day
- Idea Pitching Competition (MBA Department): Students presented 5 innovative business ideas, showcasing entrepreneurial thinking and real-world problem-solving.
- Project Demonstration (B.Tech Students):
- Civil Engineering – 5 projects
- Computer Science & Engineering – 24 projects
- Mechanical Engineering – 3 projects
- Electronics Engineering – 2 projects
- Software Innovations & Working Models were showcased, reflecting creativity, technical skills, and teamwork.

Awards & Recognition
Winners of both Project Presentation and Idea Pitching competitions were honored with First, Second, and Third prizes, along with certificates of recognition.

- Chairman Shri Yogesh Mohanji Gupta motivated students to remain “constantly engaged in learning new technologies”.
- Director Dr. Dhirendra Kumar encouraged students to recognize their achievements and prepare to face future challenges with confidence.
The program was successfully organized under the leadership of the Civil Engineering Department, with the support of Dean Academic Dr. Rahul Purohit, Dean CSE Dr. Neeraj Garg, Dean Admin Dr. Shipi Singh, HOD Civil Engineering Ali Akbar, HOD CSE Dr. Rajeev Sharma, HOD MBA Dr. Vidhyat Singhal, Nadeem Ali, Dr. Rahul Das Gupta, Arzoo Malik, Sourav Gupta, Shikha Dubey, and all the faculty members.
