IIMT College of Engineering recognized by AKTU is one of the best colleges which provide its student with all the basic facilities. The college has an excellent transport facility for its students on very nominal charges. The transport system has a very vast network in the city to pick and drop the students from their places. The buses are equipped with all the devices like GPS to track the bus location, camera surveillance, fire extinguisher, first-aid kit and the speed governor to restrict the speed of the buses. The buses board and de-board the students inside the campus premises only at the scheduled time.
The buses ply on different routes to pick and drop the students. The bus drivers are qualified, trained and are licensed by the RTO to drive the college buses to ensure the safety of the students. On each route, the driver is accompanied by the helper to control the students and ensure discipline in the buses while traveling. With this transport facility; the students are spared from the difficulty of commuting to the college by the public transport. The use of college buses inculcates an element of punctuality in the students. Bus facility is also available for students and faculty for industrial visits, field trips and other academic activities. In short, the college transport system is a safe commuting system which not only makes commuting easy for the students but also keeps the guardians/ parents stress free about their safety.
